This place was absolutely top notch for a weekend brunch! The area around the place is an absolutely beautiful multi-use development consisting of residences and cute placed to eat. Hard to believe a place like this exists in Lake Charles. Very Paris-style cafe experience. Great patio dining! On this particular Sunday, there was a young man playing the sax inside which made it a little loud, so we sat outside. We got a cinnamon roll (huge and sweet/tasty), a spinach, feta, and tomatoe quiche, and the cajun surf and turf which was an omelette with shrimp and andouille sausage. Every single thing was amazing. The service was top notch and super duper friendly. They give free mimosas whilst you wait in line and they don't care if you go back for seconds. The hostess was amazing and gave super polite instructions. Everything was great! I would go back in a heartbeat and wish this was a place local to us in Houston.

Stumbled upon this little bakery on a cross country road trip to LA. Making bread, butter and jam. Star of the show!

Fantastic little spot in Lake Charles! Beautiful and simply wonderful pastry and quiche! First time visiting but I will definitely be back! Too many choices to only go once (unless you have the budget and stomach to order one of each!) Service was friendly and surprisingly quick even though the store was busy. It was bustling so a little loud, I would love it if they had a private room that could be reserved for small events like a shower, party or bridal luncheon. It's a perfect spot for something like that! So pretty! And SO good!

I dropped in looking for a cup of coffee and a place to work and was stunned by the decor at The Bekery. Is this really Lake Charles? I tried the harvest quiche and it was outstanding. There were so many quiche options and the counter featured real viennoiserie. If you're from the area and want a Paris-style café experience that rivals anything in New Orleans, try The Bekery.

Cozy , clean and very relaxing environment. Hot coffee and delicious! I will be back.

The Bekery is an absolutely lovely hidden gem. If you love buttery flaky pastries, handcrafted coffee, and classy ambiance, you're going to be in heaven. The staff was so friendly and could tell it was our first time. They didn't hesitate to give us recommendations up and down their menu. Huge selection of fresh baked goods and a full menu as well. This place will live in my head rent-free forever. Might have taken pictures for design inspo in my house.

This was my first time going and I would have liked knowing how everything worked. 1. You get in line... because there will be a line and if there is no space for you to wait in the line inside you will be waiting outside in line. 2. I would go to their Facebook and look at the menu before hand so you can have someone what of an idea as to what pastries or food you would want to order. If you don't want to as you get a little closer to ordering they do have some menus out for you to look at. 3. You start by ordering what pastry you want if you want one. 4. Then you move to the cash register where you order your hot food and coffees. 5. If you're in a large party I would recommend getting someone to go sit at the table while you wait in line. I went around 10 on a Sat and the place was packed. I went to sit at a table for 2 while the person I went with stayed in line to order for the both of us. Now for the food. The Ham & Cheese special was so great a tasty. I honestly think two people could have share one of them and be left feeling full. The Latte was good... standard latte. Now the cinnamon roll bread pudding was a 20/10. When we go to any restaurant and they have bread pudding as a dessert we order it every time. This one has surpassed all other places. I wish they would have a Bekery in Texas so I could have it more frequently. The location of the restaurant is super cute and the interior is so pretty . It's exactly what you would expect a little bakery to be. Service was wonderful.

What a cute little French bistro that my niece treated me to! Elegantly decorated with sparkling chandeliers that greet you when you walk in. Delilcious pastries that actually taste as good as they look! We tried the chocolate croissant, strawberry cheesecake pastry, and breakfast bacon and egg croissant with gruyere cheese. All were delightful. What a fabulous way to start the day. I suggest you give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

I stopped in here for a late breakfast (lunchtime) on a Wednesday morning. Luckily, even though they were busy the line moved fast and we were still able to snag a table. For my Main I ordered the Croque Monsieur with a Side Salad and Bleu Cheese Dressing and I got a Pecan Cinnamon Roll Sticky Bun for Dessert. -Croque Monsieur with Side Salad and Bleu Cheese Dressing: This was a warmed open-faced sandwich style. It was super tasty and enjoyable. The meat was a tad on the salty side, but not too terrible. I would order it again if I was in the mood. The Side Salad was well-done and delicious with fresh spinach, cucumbers and tomatos. I would definitely order it again. The Bleu Cheese Dressing was super strong so I'm glad it was on the side. I preferred their Ranch from my previous visit. -Pecan Cinnamon Roll Sticky Bun: This was just okay. I think it may have been stitting out too long and was a tad on the dry side. Note to self to not order it unless I'm actually there for breakfast at actual breakfast time. lol There are still plenty of things on the menu I'm interested in ordering so I will be back.

Wow....wow...wow. The best quiche I have ever had. Crust was even and was crunchy but soft. Vegetables are roasted and there was the perfect amount of Muenster cheese. Lightly browned, Had blueberry muffin and lemon curd cruffin.....oh my. Tanginess and flakey crust. Then the latte... lavender honey.... Could have sat there and drink them all day!! With every minute you stand in line to order.
